Public treatment
Five longtime friends plan what they believe is a controlled, victimless bank robbery—one score big enough to erase their debts and let them disappear. The money they take belongs to a cartel, and hidden inside it is evidence capable of bringing down officials on both sides of the law. Their escape becomes a border-crossing pursuit through cities, mountains, and remote roads as police, cartel soldiers, and a methodical hitman converge. Survival requires them to decide whether to return the money, expose the evidence, or trust the friend who knew far more about the bank than they admitted.
Character development
Built the robbery around precision and hides the personal reason this bank was chosen.
Knows the roads and keeps the group moving, but loyalty is tested when escape means abandoning someone.
Joined for family debt and becomes the first to argue that the evidence matters more than the money.
Turns crisis into momentum until one reckless decision exposes their location.
Understands what was really in the vault and may have used the friends to settle a private war.
Never raises his voice, never wastes a move, and treats recovering the evidence as more important than recovering the cash.
